Laura initially got her bachelor’s in psychology/sociology at Appalachian State. She has worked several years in psychiatric residential treatment, as a patient consultant, and technician in transcranial magnetic stimulation. She also has over 2 years experience working in ABA clinical research focusing on trial-based functional analysis.
Laura approaches her work with students with a health and wellness perspective. She focuses heavily on empathy, support, and educational awareness. She loves hiking and running in the outdoors and is the resident campus yoga instructor.
