Maggie Wiener MSW, LCSWA
Primary Therapist
Maggie received her bachelor’s degree in English and African studies and her master’s degree in social work from Western Carolina University. Over the course of her career, Maggie has worked in therapeutic settings as a Wilderness Field Instructor, Staff Supervisor, Logistician and Program Director. She has developed and led programming across the U.S, Belize and Costa Rica. Maggie has clinical experience in residential, medical and inpatient settings and has served a wide range of populations.
Maggie approaches her clinical work from an attachment and development perspective with emphasis on recreational therapy and trauma-informed approaches. Maggie is a Brainspotting practitioner and has training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Theraplay, Mindfulness, and additional emotional regulation techniques.
In her spare time, Maggie enjoys hiking, fly fishing, outdoor adventures and attempting to prevent her dog Yogi from digging up her garden’s vegetables.
